Probably not. That’s because it’s brand-spanking new, and the first of its kind!

The Calm Vape is the first-ever CBD vape pod system.

While Calm Vape isn’t the first vape pod system on the market, it is the first to be compatible with CBD oil. Wildly popular in the traditional e-cigarette industry, pod systems provide CBD users a convenient and effective way to enjoy the many benefits of CBD oil.

While this is great news for the CBD industry, it doesn’t automatically guarantee the quality of the Calm Vape, or if it’s worth even giving a try.

With such a new presence, our team was stoked to perform one of the first Calm Vape reviews, and what we found was quite surprising! Hope you guys enjoy!

Features

The Calm Vape arrived neatly packaged in a slim box. Visually, the device was smooth and stylish, featuring a convenient oil-level window and indicator light for the devices 310mAh battery. While not as slim as other pod systems such as the JUUL vaporizer, the Calm was discreet and compact and felt good in the hand.

In addition to the device itself, the kit included a USB battery charger, and two 1ml replaceable pods containing 50MG of CBD in each.

When inspecting the CBD oil, it exhibited the rich, natural color of organic CBD oil, and appeared to be clear and free of contaminants. According to CalmVape.com, the company uses MCT-oil based CBD that is extracted from certified industrial hemp grown in the State of Colorado and contains 0% THC.

User Experience

Setting up the Calm Pen was surprisingly quick and easy. The device came pre-charged so all we had to do was pop in the CBD pod, and we were ready to go.

The first hit was great. The airflow intake was nice and smooth compared to other open pod vaporizers, and Calm’s CBD oil featured a subtle earthy flavor. One benefit that stood out is that because Calm’s CBD e-liquid does not contain any vegetable glycerin (VG) or propylene glycol PG), the vapor was light and subtle, providing the user with truly discreet usage.

After 3-4 puffs from the Calm, we could immediately feel the effects of Calm’s CBD. One of the great benefits of vaping CBD is that it delivers CBD to the body quicker and more effectively than other intake methods. This combined with high-quality CBD allowed the Calm to provide an enjoyable CBD experience.

Price vs. Value

Priced at just $39.99 on CalmVape.com, the Calm Vape is priced closely with other open pod vaporizers, which is a decent deal considering that it’s engineered to work with CBD oil.

When purchased in a Starter Kit, the device and two 50MG pods cost $79.99, which isn’t much of a price break from purchasing the device or pods individually.

When comparing the cost per milligram to other CBD consumption methods, Calm’s CBD pods are definitely priced on the higher end, coming out to roughly $0.39 per mg. We do, however, need to take into consideration that the Calm’s pod system does provide many benefits that could justify the increased cost to those many users who are looking for a discreet, portable CBD experience.

Calm Vape is based out of Long Branch, New Jersey. While Calm Vape, is a rather new face in the industry, the brand itself is owned by The Kind Pen, a highly-rated company that has been around the industry for years, offering award-winning products such as CBD oil vaporizers, dry herb vaporizers, discreet lighter pipes and more.

Despite a solid brand presence due to being such a new company, knowing that the Calm is from the Kind Pen is a huge plus. Instead of being the creation of random startup who may or may not know how to conceptualize, design, test, and manufacture a high-quality device, the Calm Vape was brought to us from a company with literally a mountain of credentials.

Conclusion

With that being said, the level of quality and performance the Calm Vape offers comes at no surprise considering that it’s coming from the guys at the Kind Pen. Hands down, their products are among the best in the industry, and the Calm Vape is yet another amazing product.
