There are more than 2500 different strains of CBD to choose from. And suppose you don’t have a lot of experience taking CBD or smoking CBD flowers. In that case, you may not be aware of all of the differences between the different strains. But, don’t worry. I’m here to help you discover the best CBD strain on the market!
What is CBD?
First, you need to understand the difference between CBD and THC. Not many people know the difference between CBD and THC, or CBD and marijuana; a lot of individuals believe it’s the same thing. However, this isn’t true.
CBD is a cannabinoid found in hemp and in marijuana. However, CBD doesn’t contain any THC, which is the psychoactive compound that’s found in marijuana that’s responsible for getting you “high.” THC is the ingredient that gets people “high” when they ingest marijuana. However, CBD doesn’t give you that “high.” Instead, it interacts with the endocannabinoid system in your body, helping your body to feel more relaxed, providing you with a reduction in pain, and keeping your brain calmer.
What is a CBD Flower?
If you’ve ever stopped and walked into your local gas station, you may have seen CBD oil sitting on the checkout counter. A CBD flower is a dried and cured flower from a cannabis plant but contains less than 0.3% of THC. CBD flowers have a strong scent, but they also have a flower.
So, if you’re looking to add more flavor to your life and reignite your passion for CBD, trying the best CBD flower will wow you!

Best CBD Strains of 2022
Cannatonic
Like a cross-breed between MK Ultra and G13 Haze, Cannatonic is a Spanish strain grown specifically for low THC content. Cannatonic usually delivers a 5:1 CBD to THC ratio, with THC content rarely above 6%.
Because of its high-CBD content, Cannatonic produces a mellow high that leaves a lasting relaxation effect and is commonly used to treat pain, muscle spasms, anxiety, migraines, and a wide variety of other physiological and psychological symptoms.
Ringo’s Gift
Named after the Cannabis activist and CBD pioneer Lawrence Ringo, Ringo’s Gift is a cross-breed between Harle-Tsu and ACDC-both of which are CBD-dominant strains.
While breed in various ratios, Ringo’s Gift has often been found with very-dominant CBD to THC ratios of 24:1. Because of its mellow mix of uplifting and relaxing effects, Ringo’s Gift has become a popular strain worldwide with effectiveness in alleviating pain, stress, and anxiety.
Harle-Tsu
With 20 times more CBD content than THC content, Harle-Tsu is one of the premier CBD-dominant strains, popular for its ability to alleviate pain and inflammation without delivering psychoactive effects to the user.
As a crossbreed between Harlequin and Sour Tsunami, Harle-Tsu delivers an enjoyable relaxation effect and has been shown to boost the user’s mood.
Valentine X
With an impressive 25:1 CBD to THC ratio, Valentine X tops our list of the best CBD strains.
This strain was named after St. Valentine, the patron saint of epilepsy, due to its ability to effectively treat epileptic seizures. In addition, Valentine X has been shown to significantly alleviate other seizure disorders, reduce inflammation, and assist in treating cancer.
With such a high CBD to THC ratio, this strain is highly sought after for its many healing properties.
Hawaiian Haze
There’s a 16:1 ratio of CBD inside of this CBD strain. When you first lay your eyes on this strain, you’ll notice how brightly colored it is. The leaves on the dried CBD flower are bright green, and there are bright orange hairs on the tips of the flower.
When you smoke this strain of CBD, you’ll notice a super-powerful pineapple flavor. My favorite part of this strain is how powerful the pineapple taste is. But, it’s not just pineapple inside of this CBD strain. You’ll also notice a berry flavor mixed with floral. This is a Sativa-hybrid, and it is a CBD hemp flower, meaning this CBD strain doesn’t come from a marijuana plant.
I would personally recommend this strain of CBD if you’re still looking to be cognitive throughout the day. It’s a great strain to use if you’re looking for help with mental benefits like increased
focus and help thinking throughout the day.
Sour Space Candy
I love how fun the name of this CBD strain is. Inside of this strain, you’ll find a 21:1 CBD ratio. This is another Sativa hybrid strain of CBD. When you use this strain of CBD, the first thing I noticed was the fantastic smell! I have a very sensitive sense of smell and usually am overpowered when I smoke CBD strains. But there’s a fantastic citrus scent from this strain that was absolutely wonderful!
I found that this strain tasted like tropical fruit as far as the taste. This is one of my all-time favorite strains of CBD because of how it interacts with my body. I use this strain of CBD to unwind at the end of the day. It really helps me to relax, feel calmer, and really helps me to fall asleep.
Gorilla Glue
Gorilla Glue from a CBD hemp flower contains 15:1 CBD. Keep in mind there’s a marijuana strain called Gorilla Glue, so be aware of this when you’re shopping around. But, a CBD strain called Gorilla Glue has a higher CBD content.
I would highly recommend this strain of CBD for anyone who lives a busy lifestyle and wants something to help take care of themselves. Do you forget to eat because you don’t feel hungry throughout the day? Are you looking for something to help you feel relaxed and less anxious throughout the day without slowing you down? If you answered “yes,” you should look into this strain of CBD. When I used Gorilla Glue, I noticed a big difference in my mood; I was happier and more relaxed.
